We are a small, woman owned business located in Indiana. Our inspiration for opening the barkery is our Mini Aussiedoodle, Willow. She struggled for months with gastrointestinal issues and spent many hours going back and forth to the vet. To our dismay, we discovered it was her food and treats. Even though we researched thoroughly and thought we were giving her the best, we found out that products are marketed to sell and many statements are untrue.  We switched Willow over to foods and treats recommended by the vet and quickly found that Willow was feeling so much better. She had more energy, she actually wanted to eat, was no longer walking away from her food and her fur was so much healthier.  That inspired us to create our own natural, preservative-free treats for her.  Willows Gourmet Treat Barkery was born from this idea! This venture also gives our teenage girls an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship as we share these wonderful treats with you.
